Sheesh, like Bunny needs a section--everyone should know by now that he's Kotetsu's partner, someone very important to him. Their relationship started out rocky at first, but it wasn't much longer later that they actually started liking each other; who knew that two opposite personalities would end up being such a good partnership? He's had problems with trust in the past when it comes to Bunny--mainly, that Kotetsu kept breaking that trust--but now he's learned from their time together that he really needs to just believe in his friend and aibou like the other believes in him now.
Bunny had gone home not long ago... killed by a kidnapped, shifted Pao-Lin. Kotetsu had been severely injured and the other was trying to carry him to safety, when she'd killed him right in front of Kotetsu. He still carries a deep, festering guilt over the situation, both for Pao-Lin and Barnaby; he still hasn't reached the point of forgiving himself, and this combined with the viral outbreak on the draft has crushed him. Admittedly, he's in a depression that's hard to shake off.
Pao-Lin had been a source of focus for Kotetsu—in that he wanted to make sure she'd be okay. While she's a hero, she's also just a kid, and after she'd died once in Luceti he was especially worried; even more, he's guilt-ridden over it because it was his fault, and no matter what anyone could tell him, he won't believe otherwise. He was trying to convince her everything would be okay, and he failed, and thanks to that he let her and Bunny die that day.
Even if they talked about it, nothing changed. His anger at himself and hurt at what had happened hasn't changed, hasn't gotten better. Her demise and subsequent heartache had only helped to convince him he was a failure.
And now she's gone home, and he'll never be able to make it up for her. It tears him apart, and... it's left him completely alone from his world. The combination makes him feel undoubtedly lonely, at the end of the day.
Sanji... Sanji has always been there for him. They've had a habit of returning each other's favors, helping back and forth to even a playing field neither actually care about. When it comes down to it, Sanji is his strongest lifeline in getting out of his slump, because the man understands him; he knows Kotetsu's issues, why he's hurting, and he saw it before anyone else did.
They may fight, both humorously and with all seriousness, but in the end... Kotetsu cares for the chef enough to die for him. To keep him safe. He's failed so many people here, all he wants is to make sure he doesn't fail someone he considers his closest friend in Luceti right now. He's like a son, but not really. Like a partner in crime, in some dumb cosmic way. A boss, but one you can't quit on.
He'll have to repay him, someday. He knows he owes him for holding him upright.
Once upon a time, Kotetsu really didn't like Tony. Once upon a time, Kotetsu beat up Tony, then dragged his ass to get treatment for it. Now he's slowly but surely standing beside the guy when he needs it. Tony had been plotting to build a machien that could get them home, and after all that's happened? Kotetsu really appreciated having something to focus on when things were (and still are) tough to swallow. Of course, he's got a nagging little voice in the back of his head, reminding him that once upon a time... he tried to truly kill Tony. He was infected and not in his right mind, but like with Nami, like with Barnaby and Pao-Lin, he's let Tony down. As a hero, and as a friend.
Barnaby Brooks Jr.
A very irreplaceable partner.

He's so sorry for letting you down, partner.
Pao-Lin Huang
I have let you down.

His boss—and unspoken best friend.

Tony Stark
Begrudgingly caring, dammit all.

Which Tony is. He's a friend.
He kinda' hates admitting it, the bastard.
