Once upon a time, Kotetsu really didn't like Tony. Once upon a time, Kotetsu beat up Tony, then dragged his ass to get treatment for it. Now he's slowly but surely standing beside the guy when he needs it. Tony had been plotting to build a machien that could get them home, and after all that's happened? Kotetsu really appreciated having something to focus on when things were (and still are) tough to swallow. Of course, he's got a nagging little voice in the back of his head, reminding him that once upon a time... he tried to truly kill Tony. He was infected and not in his right mind, but like with Nami, like with Barnaby and Pao-Lin, he's let Tony down. As a hero, and as a friend.
