[Action, Clinic]

...we've private rooms in the back of the clinic. They are closer to an apartment than they are an examination room. Once I have looked you over I will help you move back into one so you feel less uncomfortable.

[Because she fully understands. She may have all but lived in a hospital for years, worked, but being a patient? It is disconcerting on so very many levels for her. Seeing others that are equally uncomfortable for emotional reasons, traumatic memories- she gets it. And does what little she can to accommodate them.

For the moment she cuts away at the bandage to check his wound. The fever was damning, but she needs to know for certain that the wound is infected before prescribing anything.]
