Well, remember how the malnosso are good at messing with us? They kinda' do that sometimes to the village... And sometimes holidays get involved and it gets all crazy.

Mm, I figured with Christmas it was something like that. But, now I can see what you mean by crazy. Everyone's giving each other CPR for no reason. I haven't seen a single person choking though!! And they aren't even doing it right.

[He's a special kind of kid. But, obviously he's sounding very confused by all of this. This was never something he encountered before in his life and even if he did he never understood what it meant and more than likely forgot. Now seeing it being thrown in his face and that most of the village is under the effect it's kind of hard not to notice.]

I think so. But, it's a different kind. I've never really seen it before. They just kind of stand and just look like they're eating each others faces.

I don't know where though. Whenever I go back to look, they're gone.

[Love? He looks blankly for a few seconds before his expression shifts to confusion. Love was a term that was used to describe how you felt between family members right? How you always looked out for one another....but to express it through that kissing thing? Kind of strange.]

Kids kiss their parents on the face sometimes, though. To show they love their parents and the parents love them back. It just kinda depends on the situation... I guess the idea of kissing can go a lot of directions.

[It comes out questionably. He continues to stare as if he's just wandered into a dark hallway and bumping around in the darkness. No light bulbs are clicking on for him.

When he's about to question it further...he loses his voice when Kotetsu mentions children and parents showing their love through kissing, at least a different type of way. His confusion is replaced by growing look of sadness...but he when he catches himself doing this, he forces a smile. Though it looks drained of its usual energy.]

Oh...I don't really get any of that but if that's what's going on do you think it'll stop?

[He's kind of hoping it does now, associating this kissing thing with family isn't something he wants to think of.]

But y'know, that stuff can also be a natural thing. How d'you show you love someone back home, if you don't get any of that? You guys just stick with hugs?

We...um...yeah. We did that.

[But he has no conviction in his voice. It's just of subdued and quiet. He sometimes wondered what a warmth of a hug would be from a parent. Sure, he knew what it was like from a sibling...but no. A parent was a different matter.]
